Daft Punk Is Playing At My House

Ah, I wish it was at my house but I guess in my rez room will be enough for now.
Daft Punk is playing in my rez room! Doesn't quite have the same ring to it, does it?

Anyway, this track is by the LCD Soundsystem and is another one of those tracks I can't get enough of. I discovered it in 2006 but haven't been listening to it as often as I should have.




Some fun facts about this song:
It's LCD Soundsystem's fifth single
It reached number one on the British Dance Chart.
It was nominated for a grammy.

Also, there is a Soulwax remix of the song, which is pretty cool of course. I do prefer the original but still love what Soulwax does.

This also takes me back to the 7th form calc days. Who couldn't miss Mr McLaughlin and his chicken dance while wiping the board off. Or miss Yaz sitting next to you for an hour each day prodding your arm and tell you she's bored only to get told off as soon as you open your mouth.
